SYNERGY – SE Presentation ~ An online Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
Stafford County Special Education Parent Teacher Association (SEPTA) is hosting a presentation for parents of children with disabilities on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Stafford Hospital Center from 6:30 p.m. 8:00 p.m. This presentation will focus on the new online IEP system. Wendy Martin-Johnson, Supervisor of Student Services, will share the new online IEP and describe changes from the paper format to the online format. What is a Parent Resource Center?The Parent Resource Center (PRC) is an information center for Stafford County families and others concerned with the education and care of children with disabilities. The center is open to any family who resides in Stafford County. The primary goal of the PRC staff is to promote the parent/teacher partnership in all activities. The PRC provides:

ABOUT OUR STAFF
Rebecca Leggitt, the Educator Coordinator, has been with the PRC since 2000. She has ten years of teaching experience in Special Education. She is also the mother of a son who receives Special Education services through SCPS.
Joyce Resh, the Parent Coordinator, has been with the PRC since 2003. Her background includes being the proud mother of two sons who receive Special Education services through SCPS.
