The Census is HERE !!

Why should you fill out your Census Form?

  1. Because it’s the law. Every person is required to fill out a Census form every 10 years.
  2. It helps the County get a better count of their population.
  3. It helps the County understand the needs of their population.
  4. The data collected gives YOU a better understanding of the dynamics of your community.
  5. The data collected gives YOU the ability to make decisions that may impact your business, social life & family life. It can help YOU make better decisions about where to work and where to live.

(Based on Census 2000 Data):

Out of ALL of the Cities & Counties in the State of Virginia, Stafford County had the HIGHEST percentage of people below the age of 18.


Every 10 years, the U.S Census Bureau conducts a survey of the United States population.
The U.S Census Bureau wants to make sure
EVERYONE gets counted--- That includes YOU!!!
 
Census forms will be mailed out to households in March 2010.
Please make sure you fill out the form AND send it back in.
Confidentiality: Census data is confidential for 72 years
